Grandfather started an Allis-Chalmers dealership, with his brothers, in
Crawfordsville, Indiana in 1946. Before there were any chainsaws in this area.
They sold a few other brands before starting with Stihl in 1962. Then in 1972
they retired and sold the dealership, but he kept the Stihl dealership and moved
it to Waveland, Indiana. In 2002 he sold the Stihl dealership to Waveland
Outdoor Power, LLC. We also purchased the Dixon and Ferris dealerships from
Bennett's Garage. And moved into our new shop in 2006,
located directly behind (North) of Grandpa's old shop.
